Privacy Policy of Pix AI
This page sets out in plain language what Pix AI does with the information you provide, how long it is kept and how you can have it corrected or removed.
- Who we arePix AI operates the companion chat available at pix-ai.net. This policy explains what we collect when you use Pix AI, why we keep it and how you can have it removed.
- Scope of this policyIt covers the Pix AI website, the chat interface and any message you send us by email. It does not cover third-party websites you reach through links or promotional material.
- Age requirementPix AI is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and any account identified as belonging to a minor is closed and its data erased.
- Information you give usThis includes the email address you register with, a display name if you choose one, the messages you send in a chat and anything you write to our support inbox.
- Information collected automaticallyOur servers record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device category, screen size, referring page, time of visit and pages viewed.
- Payment informationCard details are entered on the payment provider's own form and never reach our servers. We receive only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the result.
- Cookies and local storageWe use cookies to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. Blocking them in your browser may sign you out or break parts of the chat.
- AnalyticsAggregate usage statistics tell us which pages are read and where visitors drop off. Reports are grouped and are not used to build profiles of named individuals.
- Why we process your dataTo create and secure your account, deliver conversations, process payments, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, meet legal duties and improve the product.
- Legal basesDepending on the purpose, we rely on performance of a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interest in running a safe service, or compliance with the law.
- Chat contentMessages are stored so a companion can refer back to earlier conversations. Chat content is linked to your account and is not published, sold or shared for advertising.
- Automated processingReplies inside Pix AI are generated automatically. No automated decision is taken that has a legal effect on you or that restricts your rights.
- How long we keep dataAccount records are kept while the account is active. Chats are kept until you delete them or close the account. Billing records are retained for the period tax law requires.
- Deleting a conversationAny conversation can be deleted from inside the chat. Deletion removes it from your account immediately and from our backups within thirty days.
- Closing your accountWrite to us from your registered address and we will close the account and erase the associated data, except records we must keep for accounting or fraud prevention.
- Service providersWe share limited data with hosting, email delivery, payment and analytics providers. Each is bound by contract to process it only on our instructions.
- International transfersSome providers operate outside your country. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
- Legal disclosureWe may disclose information where the law requires it, where a valid order is served on us, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- Business changesIf Pix AI is reorganised, merged or acquired, data may transfer to the new operator, who will remain bound by a policy no less protective than this one.
- Security measuresWe use encrypted connections, access controls, restricted administrative accounts and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.
- Breach notificationIf a breach is likely to affect your rights we will notify you and the appropriate authority without undue delay, describing what happened and what to do next.
- Your access rightsYou may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with an explanation of its source and the purposes for which it is used.
- Correction and erasureYou may ask us to correct inaccurate details or erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Restriction and objectionYou may ask us to pause processing while a dispute is examined, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Data portabilityWhere processing rests on consent or a contract, you may ask for your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdrawing consentWhere we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully.
- Marketing messagesPromotional email is only sent if you opt in, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Service notices about your account are sent regardless.
- Do Not TrackBrowsers send Do Not Track signals in inconsistent ways and there is no agreed standard, so Pix AI does not currently respond to them.
- External linksPages on Pix AI may link to sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing anything.
- ComplaintsIf you are unhappy with how we handled your data, contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- Changes to this policyWe may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes are announced on this page, and the revision date below is always current.
- Contacting usPrivacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@pix-ai.net. We answer within thirty days, and sooner where the law requires it.
